Nope. Statement without evidence. That’s where the eastern european and caucasion hunter gatherers winterd along the riverse, and then set out with their yurts on wheels, allowing them to carry capital (industry) and resources with them, and combining bronze, horse, and wheel, developed the Yamnaya group strategy we know as the indo european and it’s langauge family.

Now you might argue earlier start for one or more of that combination of properties. Or argue an earlier genetic origin by one of the factions. Or argue a technology originated somewhere. But just as ‘fully modern humans’ that “had the full toolkit’ didn’t exist until they exited east africa, the Yamna didn’t exist until they had the full toolkit and expanded west, southwest, south, and east all the way to the interior of india and the borders of then-china.

The west indo europeans really advance once they move westward out of southern russia and ukraine and into poland and germania and start interbreeding with the female scandinavian or nothern european hunter gatherers after killing most of the men.

We get the balto slavs, germanics, celt-iberians, and balkan-greek-anatolian branches. Each of which adapts somewhat to it’s region.

But while steppe raiding is profitable, conquest of farmers is more so. But once you conquer the mediterranean farmers, and build an athenian trade system using ships, then you’ve got real wealth, can cdreate formal institutions, and develop philosophy reason and so on.
