It’s more that I don’t speak about what I can’t authoritatively speak about.
I wish more people did the same. 🙂
But humor aside, I’m not young and acquired aspie amounts of information along the way, studied history, engineering, computer science, neuroscience, ai, law and economics, I’ve had to work through the first principles of nearly every discipline. So I’ve studied what matters to people in solving the big questions. So it’s more that as an epistemologist, I understand all these systems of thought and what they can and can’t do and whether claims are possible from the information present. This allows us to vastly reduce silly claims even if for example I can’t get into the weeds in biochemistry or chemistry in particular, and while I grasp mathematics deeply as a system of logic I can’t necessarily use some of it with any facility.
Now learning my (our) work provides that same understanding of the universe’s system and systems. The grammars and first principles, the ethics, testimony, and western group strategy of natural law are the framework for all knowledge. It’s just inconceivable that such a thing is possible.
