The golden rule presumes equality in poverty, and presumes others desire to be treated as do you.
The silver rule assumes inequality and requires you understand to whom you speak, and to not treat them as they do not want to be treated.
How do people know they are the subject of an experiment vs engaging in ordinary conversation?
How do you know that every utterance on your part isn’t an experiment – but you just don’t know that’s the case?
Perhaps I am just conscious of what I’m doing.
