So now (a) we know you are offended by my openness to the inequality of people (b) that you are practicing altruistic punishment to retaliate (c) that you see expression of inequality as power rather than simply fact of differences in ability and competency (d) that you cannot discover a harm other than the demonstration of this fact, (e) that are using altruistic punishment, involuntarily, to assert power you do not have. (f) as such you are trying to defend status you do not have.
While Nietzsche claimed we all are motivated by the will to power, it was a limitation of his German language. We all have the will to agency over ourselves, over others, over the world, because we all seek to acquire the maximum that we can – until we are within the mouse utopia and die of it. Every word out of our mouths is just negotiation on the fulfillment of wants.
IN other words, we are just really good at obscuring our exercise of self-interest in pursuit of agency – and that only results in the exercise of power, when it imposes a cost on the demonstrated interests of others.
Education isn’t a cost. It’s a contribution.
