Well of course surgery is available 😉 But it’s (IMO) quite serious as it involves drilling a hole in your skull and burning out part of the anterior cingulate cortex, which participates in regulation of your attention (usually interrupting it), so that you can (hopefully) regain control of it. The medical community says it’s ‘minimally invasive’ which if you have severe OCD is probably worth it, but for most people CBT and Drugs are probably better. (IMO)
