Yes. It is PPP adjusted data. Its very obvious to americans traveling in the UK that its a much poorer country.
UK finacialized in the 19th century preawar era ceding education, industry, and science to Germany, the same way that american finacialized in late 20th ceding education and industry (and increasingly science) to china.
These are normal human incentives that evolve if we do not specifically mandate governments against doing so. IN other words, governments need balance sheets not just income statements. And the left HATES balance sheets. Epecially balance sheets that track individuals – because almost all citizens other than white males over 35 are net losses even after high taxation.
