(a) we must act to terminate a pregnancy that would otherwise result in a human birth.
(b) we must act to terminate a tumor that would otherwise result in human death.

Abortion is killing. We prohibit some killings and we license others. In all other forms of prohibited killing, we require an intent to harm (reciprocity). And we prohibit the killing of the innocent(murder).

The only guilty person in reproduction is the mother. She is the only one who both controls access to the act, and has possibility of protection, the pill, day after, and abortion, and even covert infanticide available to her.

Women have killed more children throughout history than have killed one another in war. At present, women kill about 14 Millon fetuses annually. The vast majority in China and Russia. Almost all of which are irresponsibility and nothing else.
