I understand – in that context. My concern still stands. Because having taught this subject matter (and others), there is a tendency for students of any age to frame the ideas as they wish.
When I teach art theory and interpretation I do so by addressing every interpretive dimension: craftsmanship (materials, technology, ability), design(as a technology), narrative (metaphysics, values), and social, economic, political civilizational context.
Anyway. You do great work. Love reading your posts. Just doing my job so to speak. 😉
