Brains predict. They bias prediction for:

F: Feelz: Empathizing (few, same, now) – laterally
vs
M: Realsz: Systematizing (many, different, then) – longitudinally

All neurological differences as with all biological differences, are subject to energy constraints, so all differences require trade offs.

Bilateralism (who-sidedness) created two halves of the brain connected via the corpus callosum. In order to coordinate movement priority must be established. Generally this is the right if we reach full in utero maturity.

The brains need only differ by ‘baiting’ neural connectivity (development) to favor one hormonal bias or another because neurons like highways survive and grow when used, so whomever gets the most traffic gains dominance.

Neurons migrate into place from the neural tube. Then there are about thirty molecular signals that different neurons follow to search across the brain for connections.

My point here is that all we need do to cause brains to evolve differently (all other things considered) is to encourage some connectivity and discourage other – and this is done simply by providing hormones and chemistry that provide more or less reward to different neural connections, just as say an arborist ‘grooms’ the growth of a plant or tree.
