I love the UK. I’d love to live there. Especially in Carlisle or Kent. But as someone who has owned companies there, and consulted with companies there, the ‘productivity problem’ is cultural and … it’s a problem. Add low productivity and absurd housing costs and you’re sorta screwed. But you need to ‘remove’ the immigrants from London, and increase the housing unites, to restore the productivity, because london vastly increases productivity (as do many cities that prioritize talent over dependents).
