BTW: Europe is now almost entirely secular humanist as are nearly 2/3 of Americans. Secular humanism is a philosophy. Philosophy is a bridge between theology and science. A scientific religion, if we understand religions as provoking the debt and so submission response, would consist of ritual respect for ancestors, heroes of history, our people (nation > race > man), nature, and the laws of nature (the universe). Which is pretty much what the Japanese do.
