One kept one’s sexual preferences to those who shared them. The primary signal was superior style and dress and slightly better manners.

As for trans, that’s a choice, not a property. And you make that choice knowing the cost-benefit. And you’re asking the public to participate in your judgments. So what the ‘normie’ population will do is raise the cost of satisfying your preference to ‘trans’, and you will decide whether you want to pay that cost or pay the cost of your dysphoria.
