As someone with a touch of autism, who as been dramatically helped by medicine in my life – if only because it allows me to switch contexts (out of hyperfocus) – which frustrates others more so than me. I disagree strongly. My criticism is like many of Benzos, which seem to be the source of most negative nonsense. That said, for some of us life changes allow us to reduce the stressors that cause us the psychological pain, and for others those changes are not possible or even vaguely practical, and as such, medications are a reasonable solution.
