INTERNATIONAL READERS – USE YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE
Facebook had a much broader user base and international reach than twitter. So I could speak with more people from more countries with more languages more frequently.
Ask questions or respond in your own language. Or don’t feel bad about your use of English.
I can respond in most languages though I have trouble with some Asian languages and Arabic because the terms and concepts don’t translate well (and in some cases don’t exist.)
I have studied Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Russian but only for a year or two each, and a semester each of Chinese and Japanese. And I’m equally incompetent at speaking each. πŸ˜‰ But I can generally ‘think like you do’ to some degree, and Google translate, and the new AI’s have made it terribly easy to ‘get the vocabular and grammar about right’ if you pick the right (simple) words..
I’ve written contracts in most of these languages using the two-column – parallel paragraph method. It’s not that hard. πŸ˜‰
