That’s an interesting observation, that’s half true. Let me explain why: Science isn’t an ideology. It’s a system of testifying to observable, measurable, existence, for the purpose of discovering the first principles, where first principles can be used to falsify (test) any statement we make. An ideology is a means of avoiding the truth or consistency altogether, and instead creating emotions so that political activism can achieve an end under democratic governments. Philosophy is a means of doing the same by rational and often by sophistry. Theology is the same by reasonable and occult means.

So, it’s not ‘pessimistic’ to rely on the truth. Instead. It prevents people from lying in order to engage in ideoology, philosopy, and theology, or pseudoscience for that matter, to avoid the truth.

Now most of us don’t care if you pursue preferences, or goods, as long as you don’t pursue falsehoods or bads. And while you make excuse the ‘crime’ of pursuing falsehoods and bades (particularly if you’re female or have a feminine intuition and moral bias, or indoctrinated into feminine intuition and cognition by addition to the abrahamic religions, you’re still engaging in a crime. And like all criminals and addicts, justifying your criminality.

Some petty crimes are tolerable if they sedate your neuroticism, but you don’t externalize them socially or politically. But if you do externalize them socially or politically, then it’s just a crime that we choose to prosecute or not.

And degeneracy is what results from not prosecuting them. And that is our current condition.

Irresponsible degeneracy. 😉
