I think @philosophi_Cat must not have experienced women before 1990. Because we were almost all pretty fit through the seventies and early eighties. And the Fatpocalypse started in the 90’s and keeps going. Regarding the photo, #3 was average and #2 was fat. Cable, fast food, restaurant food, and the internet seem to have caused an explosion of proportions. 😉

(Me included. I’ve gained over twenty five pounds since returning to the USA from Ukraine.)
