Prostitution, Gambling, Loan Sharking, Pyramid Schemes, Financial Fraud, Organized Religion, Continental Philosophy, Macro Economic Prediction, Marxist-to-Woke Pseudoscientific Religion, and Mathiness in Physics have all ‘been around’ longer than ESG. It’s just the most recent scam in the long series of scams that seeks to undermine the rule of law, transparency, concurrency, and commonality by using activists (cultists) to threaten to blackmail commercial organizations with canceling that don’t demonstrate fealty and submission, by paying the cult a tithe. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton’s were masters of it. It’s the same coercion with a new label.
