There *IS* an advantage of a *distribution* of IQs. However, at present levels of knowledge, economy, science, and technology, there is a disadvantage to lower IQ’s. At present that’s anything under 85, but it’s heading toward 90, and in the future that might be 95 or more.

That said, a highly logical and gifted society *IS* great. Everything is easier as IQ increases – for everyone. From self care, to avoiding harms and accidents, to the reduction of stress, to the length of life, to the creativity in the arts… everything.
