I don’t detect aspiness in Rudyard, but I do detect the extreme male brain, and systematizing. I don’t think it’s necessary to try to demonize the male brain. To qualify as aspie it must interfere somehow. I have an OCD and ADHD component as well as early difficulty with faceblindness and eye contact. But I worked hard to overcome everything, and largely did so, other than I accommodate my OCD with keeping the brain busy on hard problems, and have to manage some aspects of the ADHD, and I’m still vulnerable to autistic burnout. So Male brain > aspie > aspergers > Autism, isn’t a problem unless it’s in fact, a career and self-care problem.
