Not quite sure how we convert the pseudoscience of EQ/IQ into sex differences in the valuation of perception.

But, there isn’t so much a difference in sensitivity as a difference in PRIORITY. The sexes are very, very unequal in the distribution of ability and interest.

The sexes prioritize perception by male predator, over time and scale, political, and female prey, in time independent of scale, interpersonal – for obvious evolutionary reasons.

With man-splaining (cause and long-term consequence: reals) and woman-splaining (experience and short-term consequence: feels) an inescapable reality of daily life for all of us.

And the collapse of the family, the dating market, and sustainable reproduction have demonstrated just how different we are.

And how much, without natural incentives to divide the labor of reproduction and society (children) and production and polity (adults), we are different, and how evolution selects against violating that division of labor.
