THE 5 FOUNDATIONS OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION
Western civ emerged on the steppe with the voluntary alliances of families of warriors and their cattle. This is the origin of democracy, rule of law, and western reason and empiricism:

0) SOVEREIGNTY: the prohibition on authority, and the requirement for concurrency of warriors, families, and clans.

1) NATURAL LAW: Tort. Given sovereignty, the requirement for voluntary reciprocity, and the prohibition on the imposition of costs against individual demonstrated interests (costs).

2) NATURAL RIGHTS, OBLIGATIONS & INALIENATIONS: Enumerating those rights that are necessary to preserve Natural Law,

3) COMMONALITY: the common law: empirical evidence of consistency in the resolution of disputes.

4) CURRENCY: Concurrency of local population (house) and concurrency of the states (senate) for legislation, and concurrency of the population of the states for the presidency (the electoral college). The system was designed to prevent ‘activist’ legislation by any group, requiring consent (via empirical test of concurrency). In other words, no group may dominate any other group. All groups must agree: the must “concurrently concur” for legislation to pass.

The common law, the constitution, the branches of government, are designed intentionally to prevent anything and everything from being enacted that creates authority, deprives people of sovereignty, and the demand for concurrency (ascent) across all the classes, populations, and states.

This is the only possible means of preserving rule of law by the natural law that preserves individual sovereignty, natural law, natural rights, and consent.

Concurrency requires all groups to agree. Had we added women to the franchise as their own group as we had the classes before them we might have prevented the use of women as the vector for hostilities between sexes, classes and races.

If you don’t understand this then:
(a) your education failed you
(b) you probably have no business stating an opinion
(c) because if you counter these requirements, you are aggressing against others, and … under Natural Law, (the science of cooperation) they will retaliate against you as the ‘outlaw’ you are.

Why?

… 2) Why don’t people kill one another and take their stuff.
… 3) Why don’t groups of people kill one another and take their stuff?
Answer:
…1) The opportunity for persistence (opportunity).
…2) The opportunity for the gains of cooperation.
…3) The gains of CONTINUOUS peaceful voluntary reciprocal cooperation in production are greater than MOMENTARY predation and consumption, and the risk of doing so.
If someone violates the criteria for peaceful voluntary cooperation, then 3,2, and 1, no longer apply.
And therefore the reason NOT to k*** you and yours and take your(individual and collective) stuff no longer applies.
The left tends to extend the mother-child parasitic relationship to the polity against volition of members of the polity. The right prohibits the extension of the mother-child parasitic relationship to themselves. In other words, the feminine intuition interprets the individual clans and families (packs) as a collective (herd) of necessity rather than alliance of family and clan utility.
This competition between the feminine hyperconsumptive utopian and masculine hypercapitalizing empirical, produces opportunity for cooperation. And only voluntary reciprocal cooperation preserves it.
In this sense, the Abrahamic sequence of supernatural religions and the Marxist sequence of pseudoscientific religions in this era are attempts to violate the natural law, and incentivize civil war by doing so.
Why? No criminal who justifies his or her crimes ever stops his or her criminal pursuits, unless the costs of such criminality is raised by the threat of retaliation for those crimes.

There is your lesson in the constitution and the reason for western civilization’s disproportionate success.
