THE ‘EVIL’ USA AND THE ‘EVIL’ EUROPEAN TROPES ARE JUST THAT.
(Doing the best poorly, is still far better than not doing the best at all.)

The USA is policing world trade for the benefit of all civilized peoples. And in doing so raised the world out of poverty – and we paid for it. All of it. Ourselves.

Our goal was to prevent another world war. The postwar agreement between the powers was that we would limit countries to their borders, and demand they focus on human rights, their economies, and joining the civilized world in prosperity.

It largely worked. But there are always bad actors.
But we have decided that its fruitless. So that the world must return to 19th century trade, and that the developing world will descend into relative poverty and starvation, and be victims of the remaining totalitarians. Our only goal now is to repatriate industry to north America, and to increase the security of our Kin in Europe, and allies in east asia. And then protect our allies until our withdrawal has been achieved.

This is what America First Means. We will no longer police the world, and be blamed for policing the world. Instead, we can return to the conflict of civilizations, the war over trade routes between empires, and end the ‘free trade’ that the Europeans have spent four hundred years bringing into existence.

You’re going to get what you want.
But you’re getting what comes as a consequence of what you want as well.
And those of us who understand these things are perfectly happy to observe that those who are ignorant of history are the victims of the cycles of history.

I’m perfectly happy to watch the ungrateful burn.
