FWIW: I can’t find the poll. I can’t misrepresent it. I can experiment. I run tests. I posted three almost identical counter-arguments on three different comments. That’s all it took. Only interesting result is the number and quality of responses – and lack of opposing responses. Confirming that ‘reality by chanting’ rather than persuasive arguments is driving the conflict. I’ll repeat variations on this test for about six months (as usual). And measure the spread of Adams’ own experiment. And whether it’s had any impact. IMO we will have a civil war on schedule unless there is a resolution to the conflict -and I don’t see any evidence in history that once you produce a heterogeneous polity that it will do other than collapse.
