After defeating communism it’s ideological framework and economic system would reform, and revert to traditional german pragmatism. I’d expect german to look a lot like France today, except as a world power, that because of geography would pacify and integrate into world trade.
In other words, you can’t maintain emotional activation without the threats than activated it. And absent those threats, practical needs of governing and producing would simply do the same there as the postwar did here in the states.
