This might be one of the most rapid adaptation cycles I’ve seen in my lifetime. “Markets Must Crash Before They Adapt.” The sexual marketplace crashed.

I worked on this issue briefly in 2008, with ‘The Market for Affection’. But, I moved on to law. So on human time scales the crash happened. And now the search reorganization is starting and will or won’t recover that market. IMO the market will divide like the polity.
