2/n German consists of a psychological and rational language (martial agrarian community). English consists of a legal and scientific language (martial naval trade).
But the lesson of the differences is that DEU came closer to a secular religion than the ENG b/c it’s emotional.

1/n We’ve known forever that philosophy is a bridge between science and religion. The German’s tried hard with continental philosophy to synthesize religion and philosophy on reason. Where the english did it with science and law (as odd as that seems).
