This is the kind of propaganda putin himself excels at – macho, bravado, self-sacrificing general leading from the front. “Deeds not words” category of thing.
He has many flaws but this isn’t one of them. Compare with MA Gov Dukakis’ episode in the Tank. It was laughable.
