Ricky, The counter is that high IQ people (high neoteny) can’t survive in those climates. Rapid maturation (reverse neoteny) is the only local advantage. Africans have higher extroversion, lower neoteny. Which is what you’d expect in steep disease gradient. (See Huntington)
